RE: 15th Khordad Air Defence System 3

15th Khordad Air Defence System Islamic Republic of Iran Air Defense Force
Post Message
I was watching the 15th of khordad presntation and I came across some interesting figures on the system which have not been discussed AFAIK. During the presentation we could see a recording of an engament of a target with a missile and we can somehow get some info from it.

The two screens on the bottom right show a missile in a ballistic trajectory going for it's target. The target (red point and yellow letters ) is at ~5-6km altitude and at ~68 km distance at the start of the film. The missile(green dot and blue letters) is already on it's way from ~17km climbing above 20km altitude before descending on the target.

Also the system has 6 channels which means that it can guide 6 missiles at the same time or traget 6 targets at the same time??

It's difficult to make out the precise number but with a bit of knowledge and extrapolating, we can get a nice and comprehensive picture.

Even the operator point his mousepointer on the missile and the target for us to see Wink

If someone has even a more detailed resolution of the same vid, please provide a link.
