The Iranian government announced in the statement on Sunday that from now on, the country will observe no operational limitations on its nuclear industry, including with regard to the capacity and level of uranium enrichment, the amount of enriched materials as well as research and development.
"By taking the fifth step in reducing its commitment, the Islamic Republic of Iran eliminates the last key operational restriction it faced under the JCPOA, which is the limitation imposed on the number of centrifuges," it said.
The statement emphasized that following this decision, Iran will continue its nuclear program only on the basis of its “technical needs”.
The Iranian government, however, emphasized that it will continue to cooperate with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) as was the case in the past, including inspection-related undertakings.

Quote:'Never Threaten Iranian Nation': Rouhani Warns Trump over '52 Targets' Threat
Tue Jan 07, 2020 11:23
“Those who refer to the number 52 should also remember the number 290,” Rouhani wrote on Twitter, warning, “Never threaten the Iranian nation.”
The US guided missile cruiser USS Vincennes shot down Iran Air Flight 655 with 290 crew and passengers on board over the Strait of Hormuz in July 1988. Back then, Tehran blasted the US for its criminal negligence, insisting that the Airbus A300 transmitted the signal which allowed it to be identified as a civilian aircraft. The Americans never admitted guilt or formally apologized to Tehran for the tragedy.
Trump has claimed that the US military has identified 52 sites of importance to Iran and its culture, which it is ready to strike if Tehran targets US citizens or assets to avenge the assassination of its top general. He noted that the targets represented 52 Americans who were held in Iran for acts of espionage following the 1979 takeover of the US embassy in Tehran.
Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif took to Twitter Sunday to denounce Trump's "new breaches of JUS COGENS", referring to peremptory norms of international law.
"Targeting cultural sites is a WAR CRIME; -Whether kicking or screaming, end of US malign presence in West Asia has begun," he stressed.
"Those masquerading as diplomats and those who shamelessly sat to identify Iranian cultural & civilian targets should not even bother to open a law dictionary," he added.

The plane carrying 180 passengers and crews had just started leaving Tehran's Imam Khomeini International Airport for Kiev when it crashed in an area between the towns of Parand and Shahryar, South-West of the capital.
The Boeing 737-8 with registry UR-PSR was operating for Ukraine's UIA company.
There is yet no report on the cause of the crash, but Boeing 737 passenger planes are notorious for frequent technical issues.
Twenty-two rescue teams have rushed to the crash site, but reports said no one has survived the incident.

Wed Jan 08, 2020 7:0
TEHRAN (FNA)- Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said his country's Wednesday missile attacks on Ein Al-Assad falls under the rules of the UN Charter, reminding that Iran has hit the airbase that has been used as the launchpad for assassinating Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani.
"Iran took and concluded proportionate measures in self-defense under Article 51 of UN Charter targeting [the] base from which cowardly armed attack against our citizens and senior officials were launched," Zarif wrote on his tweeter page on Wednesday morning.

Wed Jan 08, 2020 10:24
TEHRAN (FNA)- Some 80 US army personnel have been killed and nearly 200 more wounded in Iran's Wednesday missile attacks carried out in reprisal for the assassination of Islamic Revolution Guards Corps Qods Force Commander Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani.
"Early estimates indicate heavy US casualties in Iran's missile attack," an informed IRGC Intelligence Department told FNA Wednesday morning.
"According to the reports sent by our sources in the region to this moment, at least 80 US arm personnel have been killed and around 200 others wounded," he said, adding that the wounded have been evacuated from Ein Al-Assad on choppers.
He further underlined the strategic importance of Ein Al-Assad airbase to the US, and mentioned that the military center provided backup for US army drones.
"Some 20 sensitive points of this base were struck by 15 missiles, resulting in the destruction of a considerable number of drones and helicopters," the source added, explaining that some of the targets have been destroyed in a single strike resulted from the high-explosive power of the warheads and serial explosions.
He reiterated that the US army was on high alert, but failed to show proper reaction.
The IRGC source further cautioned that "a sum of 104 sensitive US positions in the region have been identified to immediately come under raid as soon as the Americans make the first mistake".
The IRGC Aerospace Force started heavy ballistic missile attacks on US Ein Al-Assad airbase in Southwestern Iraq near the border with Syria and a US operated airbase in Erbil in retaliation for the assassination of IRGC Qods Force Commander Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani.
Ein Al-Assad is an airbase with a 4km runway at 188m altitude from sea levels, which is the main and the largest US airbase in Iraq. Early reports said the radar systems and missile defense shields in Ein Al-Assad have failed to operate and intercept the Iranian missiles. Unofficial reports said the US army's central radar systems at Ein Al-Assad had been jammed by electronic warfare.
The second IRGC reprisal attack targeted a US military base near Erbil airport in Iraqi Kurdistan Region in the second leg of "Martyr Soleimani" reprisal operation.
All flights have been cancelled at Erbil airport.
Iraq said the attacks have not taken any toll from its army men stationed at these two bases. The US army had blocked entrance into Ein Al-Assad to everyone, including the Iraqi army.
This is the first direct attack on the US army ever since world war two.
IRGC officials said none of the missiles had been intercepted.
Following the attack, the IRGC issued a statement immediately after the attacks, declaring that it has fired tens of ground-to-ground missiles at "the airbase occupied by the terrorist and aggressive army of the United States known as Ein Al-Assad" in reprisal for the martyrdom of IRGC Qods Force Commaner Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani.
The IRGC warned the US to avoid retaliating the Wednesday attack or else "it will face a more painful and crushing response".
The IRGC Statement also warned "all the US allied states where the terrorist army has a base, any territory that becomes the origin of any hostile and aggressive action against the Islamic Republic of Iran in any way will be targeted".

Quote:Eleven US Troops Were Injured in Jan. 8 Iran Missile Strike
January 16, 2020
Nearly one dozen American troops were wounded in Iran’s Jan. 8 missile attack on Iraq’s al-Asad air base. This week, they were medically evacuated to U.S. military hospitals in Kuwait and Landstuhl, Germany, to be treated for traumatic brain injury and to undergo further evaluation, several U.S. defense and military officials have confirmed to Defense One.
Senior military and Trump administration officials had said on Jan. 8 that 11 Iranian missiles had caused “no casualties, no friendly casualties, whether they are U.S., coalition, contractor, et cetera.”
In the past week, news organizations that were granted access to the base to film the damage and interview military personnel have reported that no Americans were killed, wounded, or “seriously injured.” But the New York Times reported on Monday that some personnel had been treated for concussions.
In a Jan. 16 statement, a spokesman for the U.S. military command in Baghdad said, “As previously stated, while no U.S. service members were killed in the Jan. 8 Iranian attack on Al Asad Air base, several were treated for concussion symptoms from the blast and are still being assessed.”
“Out of an abundance of caution, some service members were transported from Al Asad Air Base, Iraq to Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany, others were sent to Camp Arifjan, Kuwait, for follow-on screening,” said Col. Myles Caggins, spokesman for Combined Joint Task Force-Operation Inherent Resolve. “When deemed fit for duty, the service members are expected to return to Iraq following screening. The health and welfare of our personnel is a top priority and we will not discuss any individual’s medical status.”
A separate U.S. defense official speaking on background confirmed eleven Americans had been sent out of Iraq for treatment.
“As a standard procedure, all personnel in the vicinity of a blast are screened for traumatic brain injury, and if deemed appropriate, are transported to a higher level of care. At this time, eight individuals have been transported to Landstuhl, and three have been transported to Camp Arifjan,” said the official.
Later Thursday evening, Capt. Bill Urban, spokesman for U.S. Central Command, which oversees all military in the region, confirmed those details in a similar on-the-record statement emailed to reporters.
According to a fourth senior U.S. defense official, “About a week after the attack some service members were still experiencing some symptoms of concussion.” The official expected more information would be released soon. “We only got wind of this in the last 24 hours.”

Quote:04.04.2009, RIA Novosti
Tehran has begun designing the Shahab-4 missile. The first successful launch of a Shahab-3 with a new North Korean engine took place in July 2000. On September 22, 2003, Shahab-3 missiles installed on mobile launch pads were presented at a military parade in Tehran.
Western analysts estimate that this missile, with a range of around 2,000 km and a payload of 700 kg, is in fact a medium-range missile. Or, to call it by name, a strategic weapon. What is more, according to the information published, at the beginning of last year, the Iranians increased the payload of the missile to 1.3 tonnes, without reducing the range of the missile.
Work is in full swing to produce Shahab-5 and Shahab-6 solid propellant ballistic missiles, with a range of 3,000 km and 5,000 km respectively. In other words, Tehran is not far from creating strategic missiles of intercontinental range.

if the US retaliated then all US military bases in the Middle East would burn and there would be thousands of corpses of US troops in just a few days.
Of course this is what makes Trump lie to 'cover up the shame of the invincible US military'.
Quote:Gone are the days when the U.S. could threaten the Islamic Republic of Iran with a blunt military invasion.
And as of 2018, Iran has already secured a credible deterrence against any direct act of aggression.
This is why the U.S. is now mostly using indirect strategies of proxy war against such military powerhouses, as demonstrated with the 2011 Jasmin Revolution targeting Syria, Libya and all the Middle East, the 21 February 2014 coup against Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych, and of course the botched 15 July 2016 coup d'état, thwarted by Turkish President Erdogan.
For this, no need to reach the American continent. Iran's IRGC has the ability to strike at the U.S. Dystopian Empire's Achilles' heel, that is at the U.S. 20,000 orbital military satellites, and all the related ECHELON ground facilities.
Indeed the U.S. Dystopian Empire is only a paper tiger, a colossus with feet of clay, since day one of its take over.
Iran has the capability to simply put an end to the century-long Pax Americana, within an hour of conflict, thus starting the dawn of a multi-millennial long Pax Persiana that will be reminded as the longest Golden Age of Humankind. At the discretion of its Supreme Leader, should He decide to do so, and at the time of His choosing.
Quote:The US F-35 had been prepared to retaliate, but satellites suddenly found Iran's Trump card weapon forcing to concede a defeat
15 January 2020
According to a report by the Russian Sputniknews news agency on 14th January 2020, after the Iranian authorities announced that they would retaliate against the US military, the Iranian side launched a large number of ballistic missiles, hitting the US military in Iraq three military bases.
After his military base was hit, the White House had originally ordered F-35 fighter jets deployed in the Middle East to retaliate against Iran. However, the Pentagon found through its Keyhole satellites deployed in space that the Iranian military had deployed its own Shahab-5 ballistic missile, and the purpose of the Iranian deployment of this advanced ballistic missile was likely to strike Diego Garcia.
Moreover, Iran has always regarded the 'Shahab-5' missile as its Trump card weapon, so the United States does not have 100% confidence that it can intercept all missiles.
After being hit, Trump had the outside world wait for his final decision, but Trump announced the next day that he would not go to war with Iran, and the White House was considered to be forced to bow its head.
However, a source said that the U.S. military is currently deploying a large number of Patriot missiles to the Diego Garcia military base, and the purpose of their deployment of this air defense missile is self-evident.
