Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) strikes the gatherings of the ringleaders of the recent terror attack in the southwestern Iranian city of Ahvaz with several surface-to-surface ballistic missiles in an area east of the Euphrates.

According to the statement, the strike took place in early Monday by the IRGC’s Aerospace Division, killing and injuring a large number of Takfiri terrorists and ringleaders of the September 22 attack.

Seems that at least one missile fell within Iranian territory causing fire and material damage. So far no video material about the target being hit, but random reports that even more than one missile might have fallen inside Iran. When Iran attacked ISIS in Deir Ezzor earlier, that strike also had rather questionably precision. Seems that those liquid fuel missiles are not very reliable - and one has to remember that both Qiam and Zolfiqar are Scud based missiles and that design has never been known for high accuracy and reliability. Failure of 1 - 2 missiles is obvious in the videos available too.

Wrong. Qiam - it's Scud based liquid fuel missile, Zolfighar - it's solid fuel missile from Fateh family.

BTW, some hit targets in Hajin area

You are right, it seems more than likely that the Zolfiqars hit their targets while Qiams missed.

Unlike missile attack on PDKI , there is a "radio silence" about this one . was it about sending a message ?
