Well, many users asked for light Theme which we had from day one but that one is not responsive, this one is..in same time there is theme selector in footer and in profile-->edit options section of every user so anyone who like Dark-IMF can switch in 2 seconds,I just hope I tested everything, for now it looks good and works fine...will see if there will be any bugs related to theme

Now light responsive theme is available, you can switch to this theme if you navigate to userCP-->Profile-->edit options or just click this link http://iran-military.com/usercp.php?action=options and on right side you'll find Board Style option..just select light style

Yes it's good that this forum is back, though we were the victims of a cyberattack just recently which nelsa is working to fix. We should try and make this forum more active as well

avatar
where is my activation email?
avatar
I did though just reject 23-24 out of 27 users awaiting account activation, the vast majority being spam bots

@Emirzaad I opened a thread about the upcoming satellite launches. There's a bunch of stuff with the IRIAF drill and the JCPOA that can be posted, unfortunately I have exams so I can't spend too much time here
avatar
Lets make it like old IMF

Well website is secure but problem was shared VPS node which was built on openVZ and that is where problem was,I did administrate Virtual private server but VPS node(dedicated server where all vps were hosted)was in hands of other hosting company, now site is on dedicated server and behind tier 2 CDN,it means in practice it is not posible even to find out IP or location of server, every IP lookup will show two IP address that belong to CDN..thus now I'm in control over machine and whole server.in practice there is no need for such expensive hosting solution since website is not havy and it can e hosted even on shred hosting but problem is as soon website or server IP is publicly available it is targeted at some way DDOS mostly...these days every kid can pay for DDOS but last time it was not just DDOS...virtual private servers on openVZ node share same linux kernel and this was very advanced user who succeed to execute root/sudo level command on two ext3 partitions one used for database, second for backup...this backup is extracted from low level backup I perform once per month from my home PC,daily and weekly backups were perormed on server and kept on ext3 partition built on second disk and were safe even if Linux kernel is corupted...but this disk is nulled so both partitions database and backup were gone...any way I'm decripting one more low level backup so I can restore more content.

I guess the security needs to be tightened
